I trade and wont use underrated thrusters as you have zero tolerance on orbital station approach (from SC particularly, but still applies to normal space) I _had_ to go full-size C thrusters when I had the T9 because flying it was just too painful otherwise. Annie handles _much_ better than that, but still…
Jump range, primarily. The lighter the thrusters, the more LY you get per jump. It really helps speed things up when exploring.
