      Holy crap – those dudes should NOT be doing that.  I understand he has KV rated rubber gloves, but he was wiring it up while the other dude had the plugs in his hand…

      He calls the electrodes positive & negative – has no idea what he is playing with.

       

      That being said – I was going to try this method some day.. (no I dont have access to a particle accelerator – yet to do the proper ones)

      Beautiful way to risk death though.

      What’s the cross-section look like from a lichtenburg? Or does the burn just travel along the surface?

      What about a freshly cut hardwood stump?

      Ramp up the current?
