The Bleia Sector Theory is a theory of possible alien life or Thargoids located at the Bleia sector which can be found on the opposite side of the galaxy where human-colonized space is.
It is not yet known to be a hoax or a fact and originally started when an anonymous group of players had encountered the Bleia space while exploring. They reported a surprisingly higher rate of permit-required systems, ammonia planets and other planets with ammonia atmospheres, “stuck in hyperspace” happenings, “dot following movement” happenings, mysterious distant objects and sightings, and even a much higher rate of finding Unknown Artefacts super-cruise signals in such far away, non-human colonized space

Might be worth a trip, how far is it?
We can send Blain, he can take an Adder 😛

It is ~36000 light years away and Bleia Sectors Bleia1 through Bleia5 are permit locked

Um yeah, bugger that.

Was my destination before I suffered the wonderful “Canopy Critical” warning
It is on the far side of the Core so well reachable given time, no need to worry about needing a jump range of X+ to get there.
An Adder would likely be quicker than the Type 7, was what I used last time.
The thing about the Wiki article on the Bleia sector is it has no references or source.
I know the FGE chaps did map it but no mention of the issues mentioned in the wiki article nor a more unusual concentration of Ammonia Worlds, and more importantly, Unknown Artifacts have never been reported out there, only around the Pleiades

Just saw the Theory status section, that wasnt there when I last read the wiki.
Only that it is permit locked is confirmed and we can all, check that from home using the Galaxy Map
Significantly high density of permit only systems – CONFIRMED
Verifiable by inspection on galaxy map (see BLEIA Permit Sector Location above), and supporting exploration log by Cmdr Seamus Harper
Higher than usual density of ammonia worlds – UNVERIFIED
“Stuck in hyperspace” occurrences – UNVERIFIED
Possibly refers to server timeouts?
Dot following movements – UNVERIFIED
Possibly refers to graphical artifacts sometimes reported in systems with black holes
Mysterious distant objects and sightings – UNVERIFIED
Unknown Artefact signal sources – NONE FOUND
See exploration section above. No signal sources have been found so far.
The recent activity with the UA made it a place of interest to test the other assertions, but the UA that was taken to Sag A* still pointed back to the Pleiades
